SHI is a dynamic, forward-thinking design and concept firm that specializes in providing award-winning integrated design solutions for an eclectic array of projects, from educational facilities to entertainment venues, from healthcare offices to high-end residential, from large scale, multi-discipline facilities to one room renovations. We are committed to excellence in providing professional design, concept, consulting and project management services.

Principal.
Its relatively a funny story...In 2003, Shundra Harris made a significant career change. Some thought it was a premature mid-life crisis while others said, Finally, she is going to do what she was born to do...design.
Shundra earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering and worked as a successful software engineering professional for many years. The funny part is that she moon-lighted (in most of her spare time) as a decorator, throughout her engineering career, taking on odd residential and light commercial jobs as a hobby. She couldnt wait to quit her day job.
Unable to suppress her creative energy any longer and to quench the desire to hone her God-given talents with solid technical design skills, she pursued and earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the accredited, The Art Institute of Houston. The combination of engineering, planning and design skills, gained from both studies and experience, heightened her design capabilities and gave her much visibility.
She worked for top-notched residential and commercial design and architectural firms during her early design years. However, entrepreneurially-bound, she founded this full-service design firm with the intent to merge great clients, great design solutions and great business integrity in one great venture, Shundra Harris Interiors.
No matter the size, scope or budget of the project, Shundra brings an original articulation and artistic spin to every design process. She believes that good design must consider the effects on nature first and then pursue the elements of nature: form, color, scale, proportion and texture and from there all things are possible...
